Superb quality as this live set was mastered from the original record tape and features 18 tracks and over 75 minutes of music and includes a 12-page booklet with many previously unseen photos.
Overview
First the bad news … this is not the complete concert. Nowadays A Woman’s Gotta Hit A Man, Flavor Bud Living and One Man Sentence are missing, presumably to enable the release to kept to one disc. However, the good news is this is a legitimate release of a heavily bootlegged concert. Major League Productions have have taken the sensible approach of licensing the recording from the Dutch radio station that orginally taped the show. Which means this is a superb sounding CD.
An edited version also means you don’t get the boorish heckling and screaming that Don had to put up with throughout that show.
Nicely packaged too, it includes a bunch of excellent photographs taken by Hank Grebe at the 1980 show in Milwaukee.
