Radar Station Overview
When this CD first appeared it presented the best quality version of the original Bat Chain Puller tracks so far. Although it still sounds good there are better quality versions available now.
However, this disc does also include a great show from 1972 recorded in Paris. (A video clip of the band performing Click Clack from this show is in circulation.)
A nice package using one of Don’s paintings as background for the glossy cover, along with a photograph of Don taken on the 1972 tour bus. The booklet includes a short piece giving some of the background to the recording and the failed bid to release Bat Chain Puller.
Beware, there are some bootlegged versions of this boot circulating that are awful sound quality – how do people manage that in this digital age?!
