Some Yo Yo Stuff
A short (only 13 minutes) but fascinating film by photographer Anton Corbijn. Corbijn has created some memorable photos of Don over the years, here he tries to slip inside Don's mind using a number of filmic techniques.
Don is obviously not well, and appears to be almost unmoving throughout the film sitting in a wheelchair smoking a cigar. In fact, his much older mother, Sue, seems to be in better health when she appears at the beginning of the film with a cardboard cutout of her son that she stands up amongst the desert brush.
At the end Don sings a short song and the film closes with his piano rendition of Evening Bell.
