For a few days last week tickets were on sale for a Magic Band concert scheduled for September 2008 in London. Ticket sales for this concert are now stopped and the concert will not take place.
This post replaces an announcement about ticket sales for that concert.

I'm 33 and have been dying to hear this music performed live properly since I first heard Trout Mask Replica in the 6th grade. Are there some dates in the US planned? Please?
The show was advertsied before the band had agreed to it. Basically the booking agent and venue jumped the gun. To make a tour viable there needs to be more than one show and the fees need to be make it worthwhile...

I'm just a little guy who loves Beefheart with no connexions anywhere - BUT couldn't this site, for ex, raise a list of people who'd sign on to pay if there's a tour ? Hopefully you'd get the thing sold before even the guys left USA. Bad idea ?

Well, that sucks for us, but is of course completely understandable. Fingers crossed everything works out for a tour.

Yeh i visited it too on all 3 days but the beefheart bit was gone. So much for that, that would of been cool just before christmas. I could of listened to that instead of watching the crap on TV. Anyhoo Merry Christmas Beefy fans, my turkey is already looking fat & bulbous.
